The Sysco app for credit control automates the process of placing a customer ‘on credit hold’ when their credit limit has been surpassed.
This occurs when the total of the customer balance and all outstanding sales transactions exceeds the customer credit limit.

Operators can still enter sales orders, but these are automatically placed ‘on credit hold’ until payments have been received to reduce the total of the customer balance and outstanding sales transactions to below the credit limit.

Only credit controllers can remove the customer from on credit hold including the release of specific orders. Sales orders placed on credit hold are easily accessible via a stack on the Accountant profile and allows quick access to view the actual sales transaction.
