Sysco Software is thrilled to have been a sponsor of the highly successful Microsoft Dyslexia Awareness Day held on the 20th April 2023 at Microsoft Ireland.
This event, organised in partnership with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI), aimed to provide valuable support and resources to parents and children with dyslexia. We are immensely proud to have contributed to such a fantastic initiative that has a profound impact on the lives of many.
The day was packed with informative and engaging activities, offering parents the opportunity to attend insightful talks led by expert speakers from Microsoft and DAI. These presentations addressed various aspects of dyslexia, including how to identify it, best practices for support, and the latest assistive technologies available.
In addition to the presentations, attendees had the chance to explore a diverse range of demos showcasing cutting-edge tools designed to help individuals with dyslexia. These tools aim to empower users, making learning more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Meanwhile, the children participated in a fun-filled kids camp called Dream Space, which offered interactive workshops and exciting activities tailored to their needs. This camp enabled them to build their confidence, socialise with peers, and learn vital skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.
