The BACS App
The Sysco app for BACS provides a more efficient method to pay suppliers in GBP. The standard format created from Business Central payment journals would not be accepted within the UK banks. By using the app then Business Central will export in the specified bank format. The file is NOT automatically loaded to the bank as there is usually an approval process to be confirmed.
Using the standard data exchange definitions Business Central can be configurated to export header, line and footer details.
Column definitions are then used to export the correct information and format for the bank.
The bank account within Business Central can then be attached to the specific data exchange.
