Sysco Software hosted its second Finance and Operations (F&O) User Day at Microsoft’s Waverley Gate offices in Edinburgh on the 16th May 2024. This event showcased our expanded capabilities following the recent acquisition of Integrys Solutions, which enhances both our consultancy and project management expertise when delivering and supporting ERP implementations.
A word of thanks to guest panellist, Vaughan Turner, Managing Director of Terasaki Electric (Europe), who added a unique perspective when discussing the merits of ‘Embracing Cloud ERP’ to delegates during our open discussion segment.
The day began with a company update from Microsoft Dynamics 365 UK Sales Manager, Tony Brown, directed at Scotland’s industry professionals. Our Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) team, featuring Project Director and F&O Team Lead, Aine Beatty and Dynamics 365 Consultants, Shona O’Brien and Philip Birnie, then led a comprehensive and insightful session.
They introduced SmartStep Discover, a Microsoft endorsed toolset designed to enhance the project discovery and design experience. The team went on to conduct a live F&O demonstration, illustrating the platform’s robust capabilities.
One of the highlights was discussing the complex and varied nature of some of Sysco Software’s F&O projects. They covered case studies with clients such as Fibrus Broadband, Ulster Carpets, Avondale Foods, and Kellihers Electrical, demonstrating Sysco Software’s ability to deliver diverse and challenging ERP implementations.
